Amnesty International Group 40

Amnesty International (https://www.amnesty.org/en/) is a global, nonpartisan human rights organization. Each month on a Saturday, our Amnesty group meets to write letters and send emails on behalf of prisoners of conscience and individuals at risk of persecution by their government for exercising their basic rights anywhere in the world. We also event plan events and discuss human rights at our meetings.

The work is appropriate for high school age and older, but younger children are welcome in the meeting room. All letter-writing supplies are provided. Refreshments always. No dues. New members are welcome any time.
