Welcome to your community
Organizing can be a real challenge, but it’s especially rewarding when you work at the local level. Remember, it’s the local work that really matters and can make a difference in elections in your community, the state and the nation.
Join a GIN Community and help create an Iowa Political Wave.
About the Community
If you’re looking to join forces and create a powerful Iowa Political Wave, the Grassroots Iowa Network is here to help. We believe that getting voters to the polls requires coordinated efforts focused around personal outreach. But we also think it’s important to use digital platforms and host organizing events to reach a wider audience.
That’s why we’ve created the Grassroots Iowa Network. Our goal is to support you and your organizations in creating that Wave. We’re here to share some of our favorite resources and strategies, with you, so feel free to use them, improve them, and share your knowledge across the Network.
One of our coolest features is GIN Communities. These are private online spaces for each of Iowa’s four congressional districts where you can connect with other grassroots organizations and share ideas. It’s a great way to build a sense of community and ensure that voters are informed, empowered, and ready to vote on Election Day.
So, let’s get started! Check out our Organizing Resources and share your favorite tools and local organizing wisdom in your GIN Community. Don’t hesitate to send us feedback and new tools to info@grassrootsiowanetwork.com
Together, we can create a dynamic GIN Toolbox and build towards that Iowa Political Wave.
Let’s work together to make a difference!
By combining personal outreach, digital platforms, and organizing events— your grassroots work will build the sense of community that ensures voters are informed, empowered, and ready to show up on Election Day.
