GIN Learning Post – Websites: Tools, Tips & Use Cases
Grassroots Iowa Network (GIN) begins 2026 by offering monthly Learning Posts. The topics will focus on training to help you run a powerful and effective grassroots organization.
Our February Learning Post will focus on websites. We’ll explore websites and landing page tools, tips, and use cases for small grassroots organizations. Ellen Lauricella from Activate Iowa will provide insights on how and why websites can be a valuable asset in your organizing portfolio. In the second half-hour, we’ll facilitate a discussion on challenges in maintaining and promoting a digital presence. Anne Kinzel, a co-founding member of GIN, will moderate the conversation.
We will offer each Learning Post on two dates to give some flexibility to those wishing to attend. We will repeat the February 5th Learning Post on February 9th.
You can register for one or both sessions. After registering on this page, you will immediately receive the Zoom meeting link. Zoom will also resend the link on the day of the event.
Background
In the fall of 2025, we held several Listening Posts to learn about the needs of small grassroots organizations throughout Iowa. We learned a lot, and that knowledge has helped us create Learning Posts tailored to your needs as local organizers.
