Grassroots Iowa Network Learning Post

Our Grassroots Iowa Network (GIN) is kicking off 2026 by offering monthly Learning Posts.

In the fall of 2025, we held several Listening Posts to learn about the needs of small grassroots organizations throughout Iowa. We learned a lot and used what we learned to create Learning Post curriculum tailored to your needs as local organizers.

We will offer each  Learning Post on two dates to give potential attendees flexibility (January 8 & January 12)

Our first Learning Post will feature Jeneane McDonald, a public health advocate, who will give a basic overview of how to use modern, online methods to schedule meetings when seeking mutually agreed-upon meeting times from individuals.

We will spend the second half hour listening to your 2026 organizational needs and challenges. We are going to count on you to drive the conversation, moderated by GIN co-founding member Anne Kinzel. Your willingness to share will help us create even more relevant classes!
