Connecting and Strengthening Local Community

For their May meeting, the Indivisible 515 Team is focusing on connecting with their neighbors. The Indivisible 515 Team has access to tools to help us reach out to neighbors and geographically coordinated groups to provide support for one another in this effort.

The Indivisible 515 Team is working together with Iowa NICER so their efforts are not doubled and are more cohesive. THey are very excited about the connections we can make working together for stronger, safer, and more resilient neighborhoods.

Together, the Indivisible 515 Team can create an environment of connection and safety, to respond to disruptions in their neighborhoods.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
